Started in March of 2005, Eduneer LLC is improving the efficiency of field guide development and distribution.  For example, the Peck bird information manager costs less than most paperback field guides and is now the most extensive electronic field guide on the topic of birds.  It has steadily increased in terms of users and included multimedia.

The applications keep evolving too.  Many of the application releases are due to user suggestions or problem reports submitted to the user group.
